Sausage & Bean Hotpot

This is so easy and really tasty. Another cheap one to get you out of trouble.

  • Brown the sausages over a medium heat in a large saucepan until golden brown.
  • Remove from the pan.
  • Fry the onions in a little extra oil until soft and beginning to brown at the edges.
  • Throw the rest of the ingredients in the pan, including the sausages.
  • Bring to the boil.
  • then lower the heat and simmer until the sauce is nice and thick.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

4 Sausages of your choice

1 Onion, peeled and finely chopped

1 Carrot, chopped into large matchsticks

Green Beans – a handful

1 Tin Baked Beans

½ Pint Beef Stock

Salt & Pepper
