Corned Beef Hash

This seems to be a dish that people love or hate.

But it’s so comforting and simple to make it deserves a mention.

  • Boil the potatoes until tender, cool slightly and cut into cubes.
  • Sweat the onion in the butter until soft.
  • Add the potato and corned beef to the pan and mash up with a fork so all the ingredients are combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Shape into a rough patty and fry until crisp on the bottom.
  • Turn over and do the same to the other side of your patty, don’t worry if it breaks up a bit.
  • That’s it.
  • Serve topped with a fried egg or maybe some baked beans.

25g Butter

1 Onion, finely chopped

1 Large tin, Corned Beef Hash

2 Large Potatoes

Salt & Pepper

Worcester Sauce
