Cheese & Ham Pasties

Most people would never guess how easy it is to make your own pasties at home.

Give these a try, they’ll beat those greasy Gregg’s efforts hands down.

You can buy ready made puff pastry in any half decent supermarket, it’ll be about a quid a pack.

  • Preheat the oven to 200c.
  • Cut the pastry slab into 4.
  • Place each cube onto a lightly floured surface and roll each into a rectangular shape as thin as you can.
  • You should be left with 4 identically shaped pastry rectangles.
  • Lay 2 slices of ham and some cheese over one side of each piece of pastry leaving 1cm gap around each edge.

Ingredients

1 400g pack fresh puff pastry

200g Cheddar Cheese, sliced thinly

8 slices ham of your choice (try the deli counter in the supermarket)

Flour for dusting
