The town does not have a great nightlife as all of the pubs shut at 11pm, although some often relax the shutting time due to the 24 hour drinking laws. Despite of the lack of late night drinking, partying can be continued as the students union stays open later. House Parties are also the common way of avoiding going to bed early.
There is good transport links to Cardiff but these stop at 11pm so getting home could be a problem if a night out in the capital are sought.
