Beeston: located within walking distance of the city, it really is a small town in itself and is home to a diverse community of students and residents. It's more popular with postgraduates, due to its leafy suburb feel, but quite a few undergraduates also choose Beeston as their base. It’s a bit quieter than some of our other housing areas, although there are lots of different amenities to tempt any interest.

Travel is easy, Nottingham University Park Campus is only a stone’s throw away and the excellent public transport links mean you're only a few minutes away from all that the city centre has to offer.

Dunkirk: perfectly placed on the edge of City with the Queen’s Medical Centre within walking distance. Dunkirk is a popular residential area of Nottingham. It has its fair share of shops, pubs and leisure facilities for you to make use of. It’s also close to the city centre, which has plenty of amenities to keep you entertained. This area is popular with students because it's close to everything they'll need at university. Some couples and families decide to live here also because of its excellent location and the local amenities available.

Lenton: by far the most popular area for student accommodation in Nottingham, Lenton is the place to be if you're after all things lively. It's a great location, halfway between the city centre and the Queen’s Medical Centre.

Lenton offers plenty of student facilities, from shops, pubs and places to eat to sports centres, a cinema and even a local library. As such it is home to many students, particularly returning undergraduates, eager to make the most of its hip hotspots.

Radford: an up-and-coming student housing area that enjoys close proximity to the cosmopolitan city centre, with lots of local amenities to keep you entertained. Bars, restaurants, takeaways and various sport centres to name but a few.

It’s certainly an area to check out if you like things lively and close to hand. Radford is more popular with students, but some couples and families and staff have decided to settle here too.

Wollaton: Wollaton is a quiet residential area that has seen an increase in students moving into student accommodation here in recent years. It’s an ideal location for easy access to both city-based campuses and the city centre. Sitting between Beeston and Lenton, Wollaton offers a handful of pubs, eateries, shops and leisure pursuits, whilst the wonderful Wollaton Park provides a lovely backdrop and a nice place to walk off Sunday lunches.

Residents settle here because they like being away from the hustle and bustle of the student social scene, so it’s quite popular with some postgraduates, couples or families and staff members.
