Exeter is a very popular university and its location is a huge factor in what makes it so. The main campus, Streatham campus, is situated near the heart of the city and so students often choose here to live there. Its close proximity to university and also its easy accessibility to the small nightlife giving students enough reason to set up home there.

There is a new campus that has opened near Falmouth. Many students are now deciding to branch out and decide to live in Falmouth itself. Good transport links make it easy to travel between Exeter and Falmouth and so this is not a necessity.

Exeter has a small nightlife scene but it is growing. Many of the pubs and clubs are choosing to target the growing student population and so good deals can be found all around the city. However, the majority of the social scene is based on campus. A new guild of students is the epicentre of the nightlife and so after hours drinks are never to far away for those who set up home in the city centre.
