Bradford is one of the largest cities in the UK and there is plenty going on, although many prefer the city lights of nearby Leeds. The city has a lot of poor areas and so student housing can be quite indifferent. West Bowling is seen a one of the safer areas as is Heaton.

Heaton is a quiet area and so studying is far easier due to the relaxed atmosphere. The downside of this is obviously the lack of nightlife and a large social scene. Transport here; to and from the city are ok, especially on the bus service. The area has a large ethnic influence with many shops and cafes catering for all different cuisine’s and interests.
