Do you want to be a Muisc Journalist?
20-10-2009
Would you like to be a music journalist? Do you read music mags and think' no no no no that's not what people want to hear...i could do so much better'? Do you have a passion for writing and getting your opinion across? and finally do you love music?
Well I think we have just the thing for you.
The Music League which is about to move into its second year has decided to not just involve unsigned musicians but also become a platform for budding music journalists.
The Music League was set up by a group of musicians/ friends to help unsigned musicians gain further exposure, play brilliant London Venues and ultimately get the chance to play a sought after slot at a well known UK Festival.
The Music League site runs alongside live nights in the capital held in some of London's most highly regarded venues. Acts that get into the live rounds gain points through fan attendance to gigs, online votes and neutral votes.
These points go into an online League table. The top 3 acts with the most points at the end of the live rounds play a final show at Winterwell festival where the audience chooses the winner......this winner will then play the main stage at Winterwell and win the top prize of playing a slot a a very well known UK festival later in the summer.

This year we would like to get you muso writers involved.
We want to be the platform that could get you noticed as a fantastic and credible music journalist.
We will provide you with your own page on our site for you to wax lyrical about what you thought of particular acts and venues etc. You can speak to the audience to get their views and even go back stage for intimate band interviews.
You will be granted access all areas, free entry to every night, your own page on our site , a ticket to Winterwell Festival and finally a much sought after ticket to the well known winning festival.
So you're not a musician but you sure as hell have something to say about music and we want to hear it.
Make your mark in music!
